Please can you join me in helping Doug and Dylis in their hour of need? They're a lovely couple who adore each other and are going through a really tough time. Their landlord is selling the home they've lived in for 15+years and they're being evicted. Doug (a very proud man) is disabled with extremely poor health and is, consequently, unable to work, whilst poor Dylis (a victim of the House of Fraser collapse) is being made redundant at the end of the month. With very limited income and shamefully little help from the state, they just don't know where to turn. They are having to consider uprooting themselves hundreds of miles from their family and friends as housing costs are so prohibitive in the south. The cost of moving (crazy deposits /admin fees/removal charges/reference fees to name but a few) runs into £000's and are excessive in relation to their income. That's where we come in. By all chipping in we can help to ease some of their worries at such a difficult time in their lives. Please Give what you can - every penny will make a difference . Thank you.
