My son has always had struggles with educational and personal limitations due to Dysparaxia.
Even though everyone knows and have suggested that he has Dyspraxia, we have struggled to get an official diagnosis. Now I have found a company that will do an official diagnosis the NHS or College won't fund it. The cost is £430.00.
My son has been officially diagnosed with Generalised and Social Anxiety disorder and we feel this has occurred because he can't officially say I have Dyspraxia when questioned regarding his limitations.
All I want is for my son to be able to get the help he needs through his remaining years at college and through University. Without this support, I don't think he will apply to University and will feel he is unsuccessful.
The diagnosis will help him achieve his potential and will be his safety net through the rest of his life
