Priority One Medical was set up 6 years ago as a community enterprise company, to provide first aid and medical staff to a wide variety of public events across Merseyside and beyond. We have grown and expended over the years to be able to deliver lifesaving first aid training, support local charities and provide quality first aid and emergency medical care to those when needed.
With the Covid19 crisis suspending the event industry, our line of income and support has totally ceased.
We have been unable to support the people of Merseyside and beyond due to a lack of funds to keep our company operational. We have ambulances and medical personnel ready to respond and assist the NHS and other organisations, however we do not have the financial ability to sustain and maintain a long term service that is required to meet the covid19 crisis.
The NHS ambulance service is massively overstretched and under manned due to staff sickness. Resources are getting thin and are only getting thinner, which is why we are asking for support so we can help the NHS and provide medical help to those who need it.
