Your Donations Will Be Used For The first is to create a new technology platform so children, parents and teachers, can access this education online and safely disclose abuse confidentially to the authorities. The second, is to help fund the services required to help the abused recover and thrive from their trauma.

FFA delivers this vital education on preventing abuse which has revolutionised safeguarding training. The training covers every angle from how an abuser is created, through to how they THINK and BEHAVE. The same applies to those impacted by grooming and abuse. We focus on the BEHAVIOURS which is the missing piece in schools and safeguarding education. Marilyn won the award of being “The Most Inspirational Woman of 2017” for the work she has done over the last fourteen years. Reference From Freedom From Abuse Ambassador Peter Garsden - Head Of Abuse Claims - Simpson Millar - “I felt very honoured to be asked to be an Ambassador for Freedom from Abuse. I have been associated with Marilyn Hawes for a number of years, and have witnessed, first hand, her unrelenting enthusiasm for the cause of child abuse in all its forms. She works tirelessly, and enthusiastically with great passion and commitment. She is one of the best trainers in the arena I have encountered and is very effective at raising standards, particularly within the professions. She is by training, and experience a teacher, and has natural skills in this area. She is in great demand nationally. I am sure that her work has helped her trainees detect abuse within children, and children make disclosures to adults. The effect of this is very profound in that I know it has actually led to sex offenders being prosecuted successfully, and kept away from children, whom they have preyed upon. I have always supported Marilyn in her many efforts, and will continue to do so. Although my time is very precious, I always try to find time for her charity when I can.”
