We are Primrose's Kitchen, a functional health food brand that believes in Living in Line with Nature.

From our rural Dorset base in Buckland Newton we incorporate fresh British vegetables, whole fresh fruit and organic wholefood ingredients into our products that are slowly air dried at low temperatures for maximum nutrient preservation and health.

All out products are handmade in small batches and are Gluten free, Organic, vegan friendly and made with love and attention buy our small team.

I started Primrose's Kitchen because I struggled with my own health issues of chronic fatigue and IBS and wanted to create gluten free products whilst bringing more fresh fruit and vegetables into my diet in an accessible way. Processing them in a way that preserves their innate goodness for you to benefit!

Having introduced a selection of muesli and granola to the world we now wish to expand into a porridge line using some unique signature recipes and homegrown British ingredients that support local growers and producers.

We employ local people who all live between walking distance and 20 minutes of the kitchen and are running apprentice schemes for young people.

We are a member of the soil association and support their work and events because we believe in a chemical free world as Primrose knows first hand the damage of toxins in our food chain and environment for health.

We believe in a circular system that recycles or composts any waste created. Any food waste on site goes to a local pig called Fern, our cardboard packaging is made of 80% recycled cardboard and is fully recyclable and our inner film is now 100% certified home compostable with Vincotte.

The range we wish to launch will consist of

  • My Special Porridge Mix

Creamy British organic gluten free oats, 24% British beetroots and carrots, virgin coconut oil, ginger, cinnamon and coconut nectar

  • Charcoal and Chia Porridge

Creamy British organic gluten free oats, Dorset charcoal, chia seeds

Both these products will come as single serving multipack as well as a retail pack

Pear and Apricot Bircher

  • Creamy British organic gluten free oats, english air dried pear, apricot, flax and chia

Being a breakfast producer trying to implement positive change is not easy when you are up against corporate giants but I am passionate about creating a revolution in breakfast and setting a new standard for breakfast cereals.

We believe in quality at every stage, which is why " We are more than just breakfast".  Our products can be eaten for a snack or meal any time of the day as they offer something that is truly good and fresh.

We offer higher protein contents across the range than even paleo competitors. We don't add any sugar to our granola or bircher muesli with sweetness coming from full fibre fruit only.

Our muesli uses a small amount of coconut nectar which is low GI and has a natural mineral content and which works with the natural sugars present in vegetables like carrots and beetroot for the perfect taste sensation.

Join the breakfast revolution!
