I am trying to raise money for a young mother. She is from Algeria. She came to the UK about a year and a half ago seeking Asylum.she has suffered with a slit disc Hernia for 14 years. I met her through my partner who told me his friends wife is going through a hard situation so I decided to go and see her. When I met her I could see she could hardly walk and was suffering from great pain. It was so sad to see that she could not even hold her 8 month old baby boy. She explained that she has had this pain for years and suffered terrible situations back home and came to England to seek asylum. She said her situation took a turn for the worst when she went to pick up her son one day and felt a sharp agonising pain that she could not even move her head. She was then rushed to hospital and given strong pain relief. She was given 3 options by the NHS which one of them was surgery (Microdiscectomy) to which they said she would have to pay for herself as she is not settled in this country yet. At the moment she is living day by day in chronic pain and on controlled drugs which is no life to live. I promised her that I would do my best to raise the money for her and her little boy. To try and give her a better quality of life. So I'm here asking all you charitable generous people to please help me raise the funds needed. I have already a Go Fund Me page and we have so far raised £1000. I will be visiting her again this weekend to give her the money raised so far. I will keep you all updated. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
