Pippa Hadley for Badenoch & Strathspey

Pippa Hadley for Badenoch & Strathspey

Pippa Hadley is the Scottish Green Party Candidate for Badenoch & Strathspey in the Council Elections - We need your help to elect her!

We did it!

On 27th Apr 2017 we successfully raised £770 of £500 target with 25 supporters in 14 days

New stretch target

We are overwhelmed by the response to our Crowdfunder, reaching the initial target in just a few days!

Our Badenoch and Strathspey Greens campaign is run entirely by volunteers with a small budget. If we can meet an increased target, it gives us even more opportunity for communicating Pippa's message, and working to elect the first Scottish Green councillor in the Highlands and Islands.

Help us elect our first Scottish Green Highland Councillor - Pippa Hadley is the Scottish Green Party Candidate for Badenoch & Strathspey in the Highland Council Elections.

In order for Pippa to effectively challenge other candidates who have considerable resources, or those who are familiar names in local politics, she needs to be backed financially by Green supporters. Please support our Crowdfunder to support our campaign.

We are seeing sweeping changes in government almost every day at Scottish, UK and European levels. Let's make sure that we are represented properly at a local level, which is the area where we have influence in these Highland Council elections.

Our Green candidate for Badenoch and Strathspey is Pippa Hadley. Pippa lives in Kingussie with her teenage daughter and is a familiar friendly face behind the counter of the local Co-op. She is currently studying at the University of the Highlands and Islands for a diploma in counselling and is determined to use her well-trained listening ear for the benefit of residents in Badenoch and Strathspey. She has valuable experience of local campaigns relating to housing and water quality.

In campaign publicity Pippa remarked “I feel that I represent the ordinary constituents of Badenoch & Strathspey and have direct experience of living with the same issues that affect many of them; for instance minimum wage income, struggling to find affordable housing, health issues caused by the quality of water, the limits of our public transport etc.  Having daily contact with customers in my job also means I am often surprised and disappointed by how far-reaching and diverse these problems are. To be able to make a real difference on a day-to-day basis, rather than just lend a sympathetic ear to others, is why I am standing for election.”

If elected, Pippa will work tirelessly to represent not only her constituents, but her home area, and our environment. Let's give her the chance to prove that she will serve Badenoch & Strathspey, its people, services and environment as a truly effective and compassionate Councillor.

Promoted by Stuart Malcolm, on behalf of the Scottish Green Party, both at 98 High Street, Kingussie, PH21 1HY.
