We did it
On 15th April 2018 we successfully raised £11,500 with 209 supporters in 32 days

We are building the world's first Pianodrome - a 100-seater, playable amphitheatre made entirely out of upcycled pianos.

The final #Pianodrome push - 2 more days to go!

What an enormous swell of generosity and enthusiasm we have been subject to! Our gratitude goes out to everyone who has pledged to our campaign so far.

It's been such an exciting experience to watch the number of supporters rise as our campaign unfolds, and we're getting very excited that we might well reach our £10,000 target by this Sunday, when our campaign finishes at midday.

In the closing stages of our campaign we have one final favour to ask - please help us share the idea of the Pianodrome with the world. You could write a tweet (@PianodromeLive), post a picture on instagram (@Pianodrome) or facebook (@ThePianodrome), talk to a friend about our campaign or send somebody you know an email about it. Can you let people in the media know about the project? Do you know someone who runs a philanthropic society?

Our first target is the absolute minimum we will need to make this project happen at all. If we reach our stretch target of £25,000 we will be able to hire skilled makers to construct the amphitheatre, run a proper volunteer scheme, cover the costs of a decent sized warehouse space in which to build the pianodrome and  pay for the construction of a bespoke geodesic dome tent to cover it.

Every little push you can give will help turn the momentum we have already into a big, positive, rolling ball of enthusiasm towards creating this incredible community arts up-cycling project!

Meanwhile, here are some pictures from the last few days at our Inverleith House Residency at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.
