To provide a fully accessible and covered area for an increasing demand of diverse community use through utilisation of cost efficient space

by Nicholas Bentley in Rushmere St. Andrew, England, United Kingdom

Ipswich YM RUFC is a community club and more than just a sports venue providing rugby to under 6's upwards. Our vision is to build a steel lean (similar to image) to alongside the club to provide covered outdoor space for not only rugby activities but an area to be used by the many charitable organisations and clubs that enjoy our facilities. The use of the premises has increased and feedback suggests a covered area would provide further community tie-ups.

Charities and other organisations that have regularly benefited from using the current facilities include:

Rushmere Church Group

Cats Protection

Mcmillan (Coffee mornings)

St Elizabeth Hospice

Blood runners

British Heart Foundation

Usage of the facilities  is normally at no or very low cost.
