Passionate about addressing the issue of Parental Alienation, we are hoping to raise enough money to help ease the pain for as many alienated parents as possible. We believe that the extra pain of this costly process could be eased with enough support to buy strong legal support from an experienced, compassionate and caring legal professional. Every £5,000 raised will be used to rescue an alienated parent from dealing with this horrible situation alone.

Legal representation can make a vast difference to those struggling for the right to see their children and we feel that this should be accessible to those with a genuine need. Victims of domestic violence are entitled to legal aid support but this is not the same for the victims of parental alienation, although it is also abuse.

Self representation can be impossible as well as traumatic, but due to the changes in the judicial system (such as the Laspo Act), litigant-in-person cases have risen steeply. Pro Bono centres have been pushed to the brink and the alienated parent is left with little or no effective assistance and the inability to afford to 'buy the rights' to be included in the lives of their offspring. Amateurs and Professionals do not compete in any other fields except in UK Courts. The trauma already being experienced is added to by the daunting task of self-representing against an expert in the field. Many feel desperate and research has not yet been conducted into how many simply give up, often miscarrying the label of disinterested parent to the detriment of the child.

In a modern-day, democratic society, better Justice should be equally accessible to all. Parental alienation affects children, men and women alike. It’s one of the biggest factors in mental illness and suicide and we want to change things for as many cases as possible. Initially, we are asking for £25,000 for parental alienation victims this Christmas, together we will be offering children and parents a lifeline.

Thank you for your support!
