St Andrew's CE Primary 'Pamper Our Playground'

St Andrew's Primary School Council would like your help raising funds for their 'Pamper the Playground' project.

We did it!

On 22nd Jun 2018 we successfully raised £2,000 with 47 supporters in 56 days

A pirate ship; a rocket; somewhere to play when it's raining; somewhere to work when it's too warm inside; more green space and lots and lots of flowers  - these are just a few things that our children have asked for.  So we would like to ask for your help in raising funds to refurbish our school playground.

Our wonderful children deserve to be able to expand their imaginations and play and learn in magical spaces.  All the money raised will be used to create  safe, green spaces for our children to work and play.

Very few of our children have access to a garden or a safe place to play and make friends. We would like to help them create a little oasis, in the middle of the inner city, to make childhood last that little bit longer.

We need to raise a minimum of £30,000 for the overall project.  However, we  realise that 'Rome wasn't built in a day', so our initial aim is to raise the first £6000 and use it spur us on.

With the help of parents; Friends of St Andrew's and other donors, we will build towards the full amount we need to  make at least some of the children's wishes come true.

Here are a few items that the children  thought would make their playground extra special:

A soft play surface;

Zip Lines;

Gym;

A grass Sofa;

Outdoor lunch tables;

Outdoor reading space;

Hills;

A stage;

Astro Turf in the football cage;

A swimming pool?

Learning Space;

Monkey Bars;

Swings;

A Slide;

Climbing Frames;

Water Fountains;

Water Park;

A Tree House.
