Pamela DeMenthe presents: Sticky Digits

Get comedy show 'Pamela DeMenthe presents: Sticky Digits' to the Edinburgh fringe festival 2017 '50 shades of Grey meets Alan Partridge'

We did it!

On 29th May 2017 we successfully raised £2,040 of £2,000 target with 52 supporters in 28 days

New stretch target

This is the DREAM amount!

With this additional money I would be able to invest into...

  • The show itself which would include being able to pay for design, props, projectorand more towards tech.
  • PR. I have many ideas of publicity stunts and fun ways to engage audiences in Edinburgh and with this additional money I would be able to emply the expertise of a PR company who can help get me important media attention.

About 'Pamela DeMenthe presents: Sticky Digits'

I created the character Pamela DeMenthe 4 years ago as series of stand-up / spoken word sketches at various Manchester cabaret nights.  I went on to write the full show 'Pamela Dementhe presents: Sticky Digits' which premiered at Greater Manchester fringe and has since appeared at HOME Replay festival, Preston Continental, The Brighton Fringe and Hackney Showroom.

From the beginning, you, the audience have been intrumental in the development of this piece and character. I have received incredible support from the Manchester arts community and beyond...including sharing photos of yourselves reading Pamela's books, tweeting book title suggestions and even submitting your own erotica to Pamela's Erotica Novel Undergraduate Summer School (P.E.N.U.S.S)

Now, with your support,  I am taking Pamela to the Edinburgh Fringe festival.  To give it the best possible platform I am booked with Just the Tonic, in the Caves, an estabilshed comedy venue.

My aims from doing Edinburgh are

  • Produce a fantastic show that will establish myself on the  fringe and make Pamela DeMenthe a household name!
  • Secure future touring to bring Pamela to your home town.

Pamela DeMenthe and the show have been my life for the past several years (i'm sure my nearest and dearest will agree) and I promise to produce a high quality show that will make you proud to have backed it.

What I am asking for

£2000 is the amount I am asking for to cover some of the costs of the Edinburgh fringe. For those who enjoy the minutiae, Pamela has made a colourful break down of what the money you donate will be spent on.

However I understand that donating your money is a big ask so if you can't donate but still want to help, there are some other ways you can support the show.

  • Can anyone lend me a film projector?
  • Do you have any rehearsal space around mid July that you could donate?
  • If attending the fringe, help me flyer and spread the word.
  • Retweet, share, talk about the crowdfunder.
  • Retweet, share, talk about 'Pamela DeMenthe presents: Sticky Digits'.

Stretch funding

The cost of doing Edinburgh fringe is massive and the initial target of £2000, is a great deal less than I need. Should I achieve this initial target I will then enter into the stretch funding I will be investing it into developing the show and PR.

Thank you

I'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me over the past several years. This really wouldn't have been possible without you and I'm incredibly touched by everyones generosity of time, money and spirit.

A word from Pamela

If anyone is interested in pre-ordering a copy of one of my many novels please get in touch. We can meet up and you can pay me in cash. They retail at £49.99 each or £500 for a job lot.

Love, Pamela
