Aim: We run a dog daycare and home boarding business from our home and we desperately need help to improve our facilities.
We are a small family run business in which everyone helps out, one of our strengths is that many of our customers comment on how we're their dogs second family. We always aim to improve on what we do and in the 5 years that we've been running we have reinvested a large amount of what we have earned. We want to continue to improve what we have to offer and therefore our crowdfunding appeal is 2 fold.
Firstly we'd like to improve Zanzibar. Zanzibar is our large field that currently floods and makes it inaccessible some days. We'd like to be able to improve drainage to stop the flooding, we'd like to be able to improve the surface, we'd like to add enrichment opportunities for the dogs and we'd like to improve the fencing to increase security. All of this was planned prior to covid but the current financial situation means that we aren't able to complete it.
Secondly, as many of our customers will be aware we have a young girl who helps us our one day a week. She leaves school soon and would like an apprenticeship. If we were able to raise funds we'd like to send her on courses which would benefit her, our business and the dogs we look after.
