TOGs Centre

We are a self funded charity that support children, young people and their families to access our services and be part of a community. Set up by parents to allow their children to be able to play and socialise within a supportive and safe environment.

Our Community Impact

The children and young people get the initial benefit as they get weekly sessions that they can attend; this reduces their isolation as they can be with their friends, it give them a sense of belonging and allows the children to do the same as their peers who attend youth and play session with other services. Our support helps with the health and well-being of all the children that attend.  Families get time to spend with other children/siblings or get time to do things they may not be able to do with their child with them, such as shopping.  Community volunteers get the benefit of experience and training for other work usually with the community.

Why are we crowdfunding?

We are crowd funding as this has been a poetically hard year for the charity and its community coming out of COVID and into the cost of living crisis.  Less people are able to donate due to their own financial needs and the demand for our services has increased by 50 % in the last 3  years.

How we’ll spend the money raised

The money raise will go on the support of the children and young people, training for volunteers and activities and equipment that may be needed to support the sessions.
