Help Vespa Print Grow: Sustainable Printing for a Greener Future
Hello, I’m Gaz, Founder of Vespa Print
Vespa Print is a sustainable, community-driven branding and printing business committed to eco-friendly production.
I’m reaching out because my business is at a critical crossroads. Due to unforeseen personal and financial challenges—including the heart breaking loss of my mother, a poorly executed trust, and subsequent costly litigation—I’ve had to divert nearly £19,000 of my hard earned savings to legal fees and take on a second job just to keep things afloat.
Now, more than ever, I need to invest in state-of-the-art printing equipment to meet growing demand and take Vespa Print to its full creative potential. This investment will allow us to:
✅ Expand our production capacity
✅ Ensure high-quality, sustainable printing
✅ Keep production ethical
Why Support Vespa Print?
At Vespa Print, we believe in ethical production. By using sustainable materials and processes, we:
- Reduce waste and carbon footprints
- Promote eco-friendly branding solutions
- Support businesses, artists, and organizations
However, without the right equipment, we are forced to outsource a large portion of our printing. This isn’t financially viable, nor does it allow us to maintain our strong ethical values.
We need to raise £15,000 to bring our printing process fully in-house—allowing us to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and uphold our sustainability standards.
Your support will make a tangible difference in helping Vespa Print grow.
Our Journey
In the summer of 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic, I made a bold decision: I left the construction industry after nearly 35 years to pursue my true passion—graphic design and sustainable printing. While I had initially trained as a graphic artist, I spent my career in construction, all the while maintaining my creative skills through commissions and projects.
However, in late 2021, my mother passed away. By early 2022, I found myself in a legal battle with the trust company and my siblings due to a clerical error made by Fidelis Legal Services (also known as Legacy Estates and Planning, Legacy Probate Services, and Legacy Wills). This resulted in a lengthy and costly battle.
On top of this, in late 2023, my wife had to retire early due to progressive illness. She has undergone two knee replacement surgeries in just 11 months, further straining our finances. The money I had originally set aside to grow Vespa Print was instead used for legal fees and support.
What We’ve Achieved So Far
Despite these challenges, I’ve self-funded essential equipment, including:
✅ A high-spec PC for design work
✅ A thermal printer and laser printer
✅ A commercial vinyl cutter and sublimation printer
✅ A digital clam press and dedicated mug press
✅ A homemade screen printing exposure unit (saving myself £900 it would otherwise cost to buy!
We started in a spare room, expanded to an outbuilding, and have now secured a new site—but we can’t move forward until we have the necessary equipment to run at full capacity.

Our Goal: Ethical, Sustainable Printing
We are dedicated to providing eco-friendly printing and branding solutions by using:
🌱 Plant-based, water-based inks with no toxic chemicals
👕 100% organic fabrics (Hemp, Bamboo, Organic Cotton)
📜 Recycled paper, cardstock, and cotton for sustainable promotions
Did you know?
- One cotton t-shirt requires 2,700 litres of water—enough for one person’s drinking needs for 2.5 years!
- 1kg of cotton uses 10,000 litres of water and accounts for 16% of global insecticide use—more than any other crop!
- Our organic alternatives use 91% less water and eliminate harmful pesticides.
As a print-on-demand business, we avoid overproduction and inventory waste. We also repurpose misprints, and we only work with Fair Trade-certified manufacturers—but to fully commit to this mission, we need complete control over our printing process with our own equipment.
How Your Contributions Will Help
Any financial support will be greatly appreciated, and we’ve included fantastic rewards to show our gratitude. Even if we don’t hit our full goal, we can invest whatever you help us raise to buy at least one of the pieces of much needed equipment - every contribution helps us take a step in the right direction!
Here’s what your support will fund:
