YoungMinds Bake Sale & Pool Tournament

The first event is a general fundraiser in the form of a bake sale. This will allow us to unload information to the student population and educate them about the services that the charity provides. 

The university services can take a lot of time to engage so it provides a viable alternative. We believe this will be an important and often difficult first step for students as it involves some level of self-admittance of support needs. The goods sold will also be branded with QR codes which will link to the charity information pages. We will also take this opportunity to collect data from students as to allow the charity to best alter their outreach methods for a dynamic student population.

The second event will be a more relaxed pool tournament. This will encourage the initially engaged students to repeat their connection with the charity and help them to understand that they are not alone. The event will be branded with information relayed to us by the charity and donations will also be accepted that will be passed on to the charity.
