Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge
We did it
On 9th November 2021 we successfully raised £150 with 11 supporters in 28 days

As an explorer scout, I have to raise funds in anyway I can to build enough capital to take part in a once in a lifetime international trip.

I, along with many other scouts from across Herefordshire and Worcestershire are going to be attempting to achieve The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in under 12 hours all on foot.

This demanding yet rewarding one-day trekking challenge takes us to the summits of Pen-y-Ghent (694m/2,276 ft), Whernside (736m/2,415 ft) and Ingleborough (723m/2,372 ft),  all in one circular route starting and ending in Horton-in-Ribblesdale. We’ll be supporting each other every step of the way on this demanding yet rewarding challenge, which includes over 1,700m of ascent!

The weather outlook is looking clear and dry so hopefully the breathtaking views will keep us all going
