We did it!

1623533152_0cb137fe-3a1c-417b-be4e-83a7dbefb959.jpegThank you everyone for your kindness! We had a great day! We got off to a good start  at 9am and mastered Whernside first by 11am, we then dropped down and had a long walk to ingleborough but managed to get to the top for 1.45pm, after this it was onwards to the final peak - Pen-y-gent - this is the smallest of the 3 peaks but after mastering two peaks before it, it certainly meant that my legs were much more tired, my hips started to hurt and my right shin so it meant I had to take things much more slowly in order to complete this one which was frustrating but my body was saying no. Alex even stayed back with me to keep me company! How kind! Haha. Anyone that knows Alex knows how tall he is and that he walks very quick and most of the time I am following him around haha. He was a great support and we both got to the top of Pen-y-Ghent for 5pm. We had planned (and thought) that we would be able to get to the top and back down for 5pm so it just added on a bit of time! Thank you all again so much. Lots of love Alex and Sophie xx
