Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge for Scott

Aim: This Crowdfunder's aim is to help Scott's family during this difficult time.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Scott Hallam, who lost his courageous battle with cancer at the age of 55. Scott’s diagnosis came as a huge shock to all of us, as he was only recently diagnosed, and his sudden decline was felt deeply by everyone who knew him. In such a short time, Scott faced his illness with immense strength, grace, and determination, but sadly, he passed away far too soon.

Scott was more than just a co-worker—he was a kind, generous, and loyal friend to so many. His warmth, and unwavering support touched the lives of everyone around him.

In honor of Scott, a group of us will be taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge, a physically demanding 24-mile hike that involves climbing the three highest peaks in Yorkshire: Pen-y-ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough. While the challenge will test us, it is nothing compared to the strength Scott showed during his illness. We are doing this to raise funds to support his family during this incredibly difficult time.

All donations—no matter how small—will go directly towards funeral costs and other related expenses. We are incredibly grateful for any support you can offer. Your generosity will not only help ease the financial burden but will also honor Scott’s memory in a way that reflects the love and respect we all have for him.
