Help make sure Green voices are heard in York at the election!
The general election has been called for 4th July and we have two excellent candidates standing in York.
Lars Kramm in York Central and Michael Kearney in York Outer will be promoting the green agenda of
- Investment in climate jobs, education and the NHS
- Tackling the cost of living crisis
- Improving the nation's housing stock
- Cleaning up our rivers and seas
But standing in general elections isn’t cheap, and York Green Party needs £1,000 to pay for the candidates' deposits, plus another £2,000 to ensure a leaflet goes to every household in York.
Unlike other parties, the Green Party is not bankrolled by ultra-wealthy donors. We depend on our members and supporters like you. And if we can’t raise the money we need to fight this election, Green voices will go unheard.
Will you help us make sure that Green voices are heard loud and clear in this election? Even a small contribution of £10 or £20 would be a huge help.
Thank you so much for chipping in!
P.S. Because we're a political party
We're required to run electoral register checks from people making donations above £500, and if you donate over £1,500 during a year, we are required to let the Electoral Commission know, who will make this available on their website. All donations go to general Green Party funds.
