If we raise extra money it will go towards new benches for the site, more plants and paint for the wall.
If we get lots of extra money we would also look at making access from the lane safer and more accessible and look to get permission for a local artist to create a nature themed mural
YGC Rebel Mams first Guerilla Gardened this spot In the first lockdown with help from all the community.
We dug out mattresses and lots of easte, planted wildflowers and bulbs, added a planter and have been letting the grass turn to meadow.
The site has hosted a community Christmas tree, nativity scene, carols and even Halloween witches.
We want to be able to do more - get new benches, paint the wall, add a lavender border but we need to officially adopt the land on licence from Cardiff Council.
We have already managed to save the land from the disposal list, we now want to make it as beautiful as possible and a home for all our pollinators.
