Marwa Relief has been set up to help those most in need by providing the basic necessities to help ease their hardship. This charity aims to be a beacon of hope in places where normal everyday life has almost become unbearable.

Our current focus is on Yemen, a country on the brink of a catastrophic famine resulting from more than 8 years of conflict. The UN has described the humanitarian situation in Yemen as the worst in the world with more than 22million in need of aid. Sadly, at least 1 child dies every 10 minutes in Yemen from malnutrition and preventable diseases. This dire situation has been further impacted by the COVID pandemic.

Marwa Relief is working in partnership with Bir Nasir Medical Health center in Lahj, Yemen. We urgently need donations to help families facing poverty, food insecurity and lack of medical help. Donations will provide basic health care and emergency food packs to those most in need of aid.

Marwa Relief hopes to alleviate the suffering of many vulnerable families in Yemen and be a source of hope. This charity has been set up in loving memory of our beloved daughter Marwa.

Abu Huraira (RA) reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, Allah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever helps ease one in difficulty, Allah will make it easy for him in this world and in the Hereafter.

Salem a father of 5 with a heart condition that required urgent surgery due to breathing difficulties, constant pain, and being house bound not being able to support his family.   With your generous support we were able to arrange for his successful treatment and support his family while he recovers.

Alhamdulillah, Salem is on his way to a full recovery.  And we continue to support his family.

£20 Cholera hygiene kit – This is an individual pack for one and can prevent the spread of the disease in places with poor sanitation.

£60 Malnutrition kit – This includes nutritious food items to feed a malnutrition-prone family of seven for a month.

£50 Food parcel – Families in Yemen are going days without food. Our food parcel includes enough food to feed a family of seven for an entire month.

£15 Free pharmacy support – A monthly donation of £15 can support our free pharmacy and ensure that it stays open. Providing free medicine to those who can’t afford it.

£40 Water truck – Each truck can provide clean safe water to about 900 people.

£170 Water tank for a household – This will ensure that a family has enough water. Most families do not have access to water and basic sanitation.
