Young Champs ACE: A Chance (for) Everyone

Aim: ACE sole objective is to create opportunities for ALL children to access Tennis coaching.

Who are we?

We are a charity based in South London and for the last 5 years have been creating opportunities for children to play Tennis who might not normally get the chance. Our latest campaign is to take this across the country and change the perception of British Tennis. 

Young Champs was born out of the success of coaching provider G Tennis, who in 2022 won LTA best park Provider in the UK. In the last 2 years alone we have delivered over 2800 free hours to local children and since 2021 have given over 300 children access to a free 6 hour holiday course including a free racket. balls and t-shirt. 

Why are we crowdfunding?

We are crowdfunding to both continue our South London project so the children who currently play in the programme can continue and also support other programmes and coaches around the country to do the same. 

How we’ll spend the money raised

We use the money to subsidise coaching fee's and only every break even on money raised. We use money for courts fee's and a small amount goes towards balls and equipment. 

Community impact

We also work with other charities and have had a session running for over 5 years with the Cheer Trust. Some of these children are now starting their coaching journey and we hope to be able to provide job opportunities for them in years to come. 

How you can play your part

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
