To cover the costs of setting up an 8 week trial of WYF?! - a social, exploratory event for adults learning about their neurodivergence.

by Exit Child Events in Bristol, Bristol City, United Kingdom

What’s Your Flavour?! is a pioneering social event brought to LHG Brewpub every Wednesday in May and June 2025 by Exit Child Events. It is thoughtfully curated for those exploring neurodivergence by those exploring neurodivergence, whether diagnosed or not.

WYF?! offers a safe, inclusive environment to connect and engage in creative activities, games, socialising, learning and seeking sensory-friendly spaces.

Our team is passionate about providing a space for adults - especially those navigating autism and/or ADHD, who often lack professional support, especially given that local services are facing record high demands and waiting lists for assessments, years long.

Collaborators, No Big Light Charity offer essential peer-led guidance and evidence-based information on Autism and ADHD, as well as taster regulation sessions to help fill the gaps.

Funds raised will help cover:

  • arts & crafts
  • board games
  • video game station
  • fidget toys
  • ear plugs/defenders
  • sensory friendly transformation of space
  • comfortable seating
  • accessibility needs
  • low income support transport fund
  • community outreach
  • information packs
  • prize giveaways
  • volunteer training
  • meetings with sponsors and collaborators

The funding will also provide support for the wellbeing of our wonderful volunteers and attendees, ensuring this much-needed initiative thrives with community at the helm - this will include food and travel expenses to keep our accessibility as broad as is possible so that those who lack structured support and/or are on lower incomes can still get involved as much or as little as they'd like to.

Together, we can create a space where neurodivergent people feel validated, supported, and empowered!
