The Whisky Club will sponsor 100 veterans in the Golani October 7 Warriors Project, helping veterans from the Golani Brigade who fought in the toughest battles at the Nova Festival and in the Kibbutzim. They saved many lives, but experienced profound trauma.
Peace of Mind
Our vision is to help every IDF combat veteran process their experiences and heal. Sadly, too many carry invisible wounds—grief and trauma—from their service. While veterans with physical injuries are generally well cared for, those with psychological scars can be left behind. Peace of Mind ensures veterans with invisible wounds get the help they need.
Peace of Mind is a 9 month journey with a transformative week in a diaspora Jewish community. Veterans engage in 40 hours of group therapy, as well as uplifting social activities. Upon returning to Israel, follow-up workshops and treatments ensure sustained progress. These include innovative treatments for those with PTSD, and the programme now extends support to veterans' families.
Urgent Need
We urgently need to heal our Golani October 7 Warriors and the 3,000+ other veterans we have on the waiting list to find their Peace of Mind. Thank you for your generous support of these brave men and women who carry invisible scars from serving Israel.
