Wraysbury Cricket Club Facilities

Aim: Due to flooding we aim to raise funds to completely overhaul our changing room as well as toilet & entertainment facilities

Who are we?

We are Wraysbury Cricket Club, based in the beautiful village of Wraysbury, Berkshire. We currently have multiple men's teams, various different colts age groups and a women's rounders group.

Why are we crowdfunding?

We are raising funds as our facilities were completely flooded including the changing rooms, toilets, shed and entertainment facilities. We want to modernise them and future proof them against further floods and to make them fully accessible and welcoming for girls/ women.

As you can see from the pictures below our changing rooms are ruined and now in a tired old state and need some repairs. 

How we’ll spend the money raised

The main areas we have identified in this project as a 'must do' are; 

• to lay new easy to clean hard flooring 
• create a new access to the female toilets for a more inclusive changing facility
• modernise the showers, creating cubicles for privacy

Other areas we would like to address should we reach the required funds are;

• Repair the pathways around the building
• Upgrade the sliding doors in the clubhouse
• Repair the shed to protect the new equipment
• Improve downstairs recreational facilities for social members
• ]Upgrade the upstairs clubhouse
• Upgrade the building lighting 

Community impact

By modernising our changing rooms and toilets, we want to make it a welcoming environment for women and girls. With this we should able to encourage more local people to join our club and participate in sports.
