We aim to repair the supporters stand at Worthing Rugby, & re-dedicate it to the memory of Charley McAdams, ex-women's rugby chairperson

Any additional funds will be used to support the upgrade of other facilities across the clubs facilities, including changing areas, toilets, fitness centre, floodlighting, etc. All money will be ploughed back into the club for the benefit of sports players, supporters and the local community.
We are lifelong fans of rugby & members of the commercial team at Worthing Rugby FC . We have ambitions to regenerate parts of the ground to provide modern facilities for players and supporters alike.
The plan is to repair and upgrade the ageing supporters stand, which provides seating and protection from the weather for up to 140 people. Today, much of the seating is broken, metal struts need replacing and it is in serious need of general tlc. This includes replacing broken roofing and a complete repaint to ensure it is safe, secure, and welcoming for home and away fans
We want to provide safe, sheltered seating to view matches for the various teams using the main pitch, including Worthing Raiders, Worthing Warriors, and a variety of senior, junior, and mini teams. Plus a variety of other sports that use our facilities, including football & junior rugby tournaments and family fun days for the local community
Many of the seats are broken, their metalwork is rusted and the stand is looking old and tired. All money's raised will be directly used to replace broken seat brackets, renew seating, repair the roofing and give the whole stand a lick of paint.
The objective is to give the stand a new lease of life for the benefit of everyone using the club's facilities. And to recognise Charley McAdams, a long-term supporter of the club, a Worthing Warriors player and Chairperson of the women's rugby before her premature death in July 2023
A variety of groups use the club for sporting events and other community activities. We want to be sure it is safe and comfortable for everyone to use.
