GUINNESS WORLD RECORD 2010

I retired from elite cycling after breaking cycling's Guinness World Record for the fastest circumnavigation of the planet in 2010.

I have since gained a first class honours degree in 2023 and a masters in December 2024.

At almost 60, I am coming out of retirement to try and win the ultra high profile World masters cycling gravel race world championships, dedicated to the Palestinian cause. They will be held in Nice this year.

To do this, and after 15 years out of the sport, I need to fund full-time training and competing in the world series qualifying events. I am an active daily supporter and social media poster of the Palestinian cause, and this is the inspiration behind this campaign, to draw attention on the world stage. I have been training now for 6 months.

I greatly appreciate any support given and will do my upmost to perform at the highest level.
