We're still collecting donations
On the 10th July 2024 we'd raised £815 with 28 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

Women of Grace is a UK-based charity working towards ending the harmful practices of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and Honour Based Violence (HBV). We are a grassroots organisation, led and supported by survivors, Women of Grace was founded to serve a community of women that nobody was reaching out to. We believe that the way we can grow through community and collaboration. Our story began with Valerie as a survivor of FGM doing community outreach work, supporting women across Hertfordshire, Essex and London.
Our grassroots organisation engages with the community through workshops, talks, and activities to raise awareness and provide support services for those affected by FGM/C and abuse. We have no restrictions when it comes to supporting women and girls dealing with trauma from FGM and are committed to empowering them to recognise signs of abuse and where to get help to protect them from harm, regardless of their background, religion, or race.
Since 2020 we've had 268 women engage with us and benefit from our services. Many of these women have gone on to become volunteers and advocates for change in their communities.
Our services
By supporting this campaign we can give women the confidence to confide in us, a community to support them and a safe place for them to be in their area. By supporting those who have experienced this violence we can train them to ensure that FGM is better understood within their own communities and how to safeguard other people from being impacted too.
People don't want to come out and share the pain they are going through because they don't think that people will help them.
