WAST is a self help women's asylum seeker led organisation building the members capacity for survival in the asylum system, developing members, confidence, basic English cultural understanding, new skills and providing opportunities to take part in activities which help overcome the trauma of their experiences and which also serve to raise awareness and understanding in their local communities.
