Many families report feeling alone, isolated, struggling with their mental health, financial worries…the difficulties faced on a cancer journey seem endless:
“I find it hard to summarise how I’m feeling to be honest, it’s all been totally overwhelming and exhausting. I feel so guilty that my husband and children have been through this.”
“I am terrified of leaving my children behind.”
“The cancer diagnosis at 38 means I can’t relate to anybody. School mums and friends are now non-existent.”
“Things are really tough at the moment. I’m struggling to cover bills with what’s coming in and the boys have school trips and camps to pay for too, as well as all the usual outgoings.”

“Wolo have been life savers on our cancer journey. We felt alone and isolated after my husband’s diagnosis, but since we found Wolo we feel like we have someone to talk to who understands exactly what it’s like to go through a cancer diagnosis when you have a young child at home.”
“It makes a huge difference to be considered part of the Wolo family. The kindness they have offered has been so very humbling and they have made us smile when things have been tough; and helped us make some wonderful memories. There isn't anyone out there doing what they are doing. We appreciate it so much!”
“We cannot thank Wolo enough. I know that they are there for us in the worst time in our lives. It means so much.”
