With your help, I can have a second chance in life

Aim: The aim of this fund raising is to help cover the cost of visa fees and legal costs.

After 20 Years of Struggle, I’m finally able to apply for visa to further contribute and use my skills that I gained during my post graduation, to further be a part of larger community and help other people. 

I have lived in the UK for past 20 years,  surviving, working, and quietly hoping for a future where I could finally belong. Today, I’m taking a courageous step toward that future by applying for a visa that will allow me to live and work here legally, safely, and with dignity.

I was suffering from an autoimmune disease called Pemphigus Vulgaris, and it flared up during my studies that left me without hope and ambition, even though I had done brilliantly in my studies and had secured a job. As a result I ended up making some really bad choices and wrong decisions, since then my journey has been marked by hardship. I’ve experienced exploitation, underpayment, and countless barriers, yet I’ve never stopped striving.

I’m also a passionate golfer. The game has been more than a sport to me,  it’s been a way to stay grounded, find community, and hold onto a sense of purpose through the hardest times and it has kept me going even in unbearable circumstances.

This visa will change everything. It will allow me to finally live free from fear, contribute my skills, and give back to the country that I already consider my home.

I’m asking for your support to help cover the legal and application costs I can’t meet alone. But this isn’t just about me. Once I’m granted the visa and began working, I’ve made a personal promise: I will donate an amount equal to what I raise here to a UK homeless charity. I know what it’s like to feel invisible, and I want to help others rise, too.
