We, the pupils, staff and families of Queen's Hill Primary School are aiming to walk 1950 miles to reach Lapland by the Christmas holidays.

On the 26th December 2021 we'd raised £675 with 31 supporters in 49 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
We are encouraging all the children to go on walks with family and friends and log how far they've walked each week with the aim of reaching Lapland by Christmas Eve.
We are asking parents. carers, members of the community and local businesses to sponsor the children with the aim of raising £2500 for new ICT and coding equipment for the school.
Every child that takes part will receive a certificate and festive treat. Further certificates will be awarded for walking 2 miles (bronze), 5 miles (silver) and 10 miles (gold).
Each child will receive a 'Lapland Log' to keep a tally of the distances they have walked.
We will update regularly with how far we our along our journey, top walkers, famous landmarks passed etc.
