The Block Armed Forces Foundation is a small charity assisting those at risk of or currently suffering from homeless.
We are not currently funded by central government or by our local authority, we rely grants, corporate sponsorship , donations and mutual support.
The Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment is the Infantry Regiment of the North West of England. It has one Regular battalion, one Reserve battalion. At the Block we support all Army, Navy and RAF services and their families.
No veteran should be on the streets of Liverpool begging in this way.
Liverpool has one of the best veteran support networks in the country starting with The Block & Rapid intervention.
At the Block, We have access to accredited training courses, employment opportunities, mental health support, addiction support, emergency accommodation, housing & benefits advice & support.
