Your generosity has already been amazing. I can already be confident to hire someone to work part time. Meeting this stretch target would mean someone working full time who can mobilise volunteers and get the most out of everyone. The more hours, the more votes, the more likely we are to win.
I’m Anna Dixon - Labour’s parliamentary candidate for Shipley in West Yorkshire and I’m asking you to help me win this seat at the next general election.
After strong local election results and the massive swing to Labour in recent by-elections, it’s clear that Shipley is a winnable seat for Labour. Labour must win in areas like Shipley to win across the country and secure a majority in parliament. The election could be as early as May.
I’m ready with a campaign plan and lots of volunteers raring to go. But I can't deliver all this alone.
I need a skilled, dedicated campaign organiser to effectively mobilise the team of volunteers allowing me to focus my time where it’s best spent – out and about talking to voters - and give me the best chance of making the difference Shipley and the country so desperately need.
I’m asking for help because I know with a paid organiser working with me and the team of dedicated volunteers, we can win in Shipley and win the country for Labour.
I have the offer of matched funding from the national Labour Party. If I can raise at least £10k I can go ahead and hire someone and pay for some of the other campaign expenses needed such as a campaign centre, leaflets and digital ads.
I need someone in post by the end of the year, so we have just a few weeks to raise this amount. There are talented people out there who could make all the difference in this campaign. Please give what you can. Let’s win this together.
