Please help me secure the future of winebound™!

Setting the scene...

The global pandemic created a very uncertain landscape for newly-launched small businesses like winebound™, which doesn't qualify for any financial support from the government.

During all three lockdowns, winebound™ has been unable to host any face-to-face events, such as wine experiences at bars & restaurants, and private tastings at our clients' homes, which were at the core of our initial business model.

How has winebound™ navigated through the pandemic?

For the past 4 months, winebound™ has been hosting some really fun and informative virtual tastings, covering a wide range of wine styles, countries and grape varieties. They are a great way to keep our audience engaged and entertained during the lockdowns. But the reality is that the revenue generated from ticket sales is just not enough to keep the business afloat until social distancing is completely lifted and in-person events are resumed.

How can you help?

I'm asking for some financial support to secure the future of winebound. I'm seeking contributions in the value of £10, £25, £35, £50, £75, £100, £125 and £150. Each of these contributions will receive a reward, ranging from a '£10 voucher' to some amazing wines that I have hand-picked myself. And you don't have to wait for them very long, I'll make sure that you receive your rewards as soon as the campaign is closed, or in some cases, even before that.

The Rewards

• For £10 your will receive a £10 Token which you can use when booking one of our next wine tastings - virtual or in-person. It's basically a deposit! The token will be valid until 31st December 2021 so you will be able to redeem it for any of our events until the end of the year.

• For £25 you will receive a bottle of Ferghettina Franciacorta Brut NV - the fanciest sparkling wine from Italy, made in the traditional method, just like champagne. Delivery to any address in the UK is included.

• For £35 you will receive a 45-Minute Wine Consultation via Zoom - perhaps you need some recommendations to stock up your wine rack? Or maybe you need advice on how to source wines for a large party?  Whatever your query is, I can answer all your wine-related questions!

• For £50 you will receive 1 bottle of Ferghettina Franciacorta Brut NV + 1 bottle of Aliança Bairrada Reserva 2018 [red wine from Portugal] + access to a [optional] virtual tasting featuring these 2 wines, which will take place on Friday 16th April. Delivery to any address in the UK is included.

• For £75 you will receive 1 bottle of Ferghettina Franciacorta Brut NV + 1 bottle of Aliança Bairrada Reserva 2018 + 1 bottle of Château Mercian Yamanashi Koshu sur lie 2017 [white wine from Japan]. Delivery to any address in the UK is included.

• For £100 you will receive 1 bottle of Ferghettina Franciacorta Brut NV + 1 bottle of Aliança Bairrada Reserva 2018 + 1 bottle of Château Mercian Yamanashi Koshu sur lie 2017 + 1 bottle of Domaine de la Brossette Touraine Rosé 2019 [organic rosé from the Loire Valley]. What does winebound have in store?

Once social distancing restrictions are lifted, we have a full programme of wine events lined up for the summer and autumn months, including our 1st birthday party in September and a pop up Christmas shop in December.

We're also planning to launch our YouTube channel later this year and will continue to host virtual tastings for both private and corporate clients.

In Spring 2022, we'll be launching 'The winebound Show', a one-day wine festival featuring a wide range of wine producers under one roof. So much to look forward to!

Mayor of London's support to Small Businesses

The great thing about this campaign is that if I hit at least half of my target of £1,250, the Mayor of London will match every £ raised, which will then generate a total of £2,500.
