Winchester & District Green Party Campaign Fund

Over the last two years we have succeeded in getting two fantastic Green Party Councillors elected to Winchester City Council for Central Meon Valley ward. 

The winning Green Party vote rose to 63% here last year! 

This hasn't just happened by accident. It is because volunteers worked hard to win a strategic campaign with targeted literature, letters and posters. We are currently continuing the hard work to gain a third Green Councillor here in May. But we don't want to stop there....

Following our local election successes in Central Meon Valley ward we want to expand our strategic campaign to get more Green councillors elected 

Our two Green Councillors work hard all the year round taking up local issues and concerns, holding the Council to account and championing social justice & our environment in the council chamber. A green voice in the room makes such a difference and more elected green voices will make even more of a difference.

We have an enthusiastic team of willing volunteers working hard delivering newsletters and knocking on doors.  

In order to continue the good work, we now need your help to pay for the next round of essential targeted newsletters, calling cards and leaflets.

We're asking you to help us raise £500 towards the cost of funding this essential literature and help get the next stage of our strategic campaign off to the best possible start in January. Whether you can afford £5, £50 or £100 your donation will be well used and much appreciated.

Typical costs of 'Eco friendly' literature;

Newsletters to keep local residents informed -  £175 for 5000        

Information Postcards - £72 for 5000

Calling Cards - £45 for 2000 

Vote Green Posters - £25

Unlike larger parties, we rely entirely on donations direct to the local party from our members and supporters. We are not receiving any money from members' monthly subscriptions to the National Party. Any amount donated by you to this crowd funder, large or small will be used to pay for essential local campaign literature.
