Terms & Conditions

Winner Notification: We will contact all winners within three working days of the closing date. Winners will then have one week to respond to us so we can arrange delivery of their prizes. Anyone who fails to respond within this time frame will forfeit their prize and another winner will be chosen.

Booking the Experience: The crocodile feeding experience must be booked within one week of being contacted. If the winner fails to book within this time period, another winner will be chosen.

Availability: The crocodile feeding experience will only be available on a specific date, which is TBC at the time of this prize draw. To coincide with feeding times, winners must arrive at the time given to them when booking.

Rescheduling: If you wish to change the date of your crocodile feeding experience within a week of it taking place, you will be charged a £10 administration fee.

Confirmation: Please do not assume your crocodile feeding experience is booked until you have received email confirmation or confirmation by telephone.

Cancellations: You will be entering working environments; from time to time, things may happen beyond our control, and we may need to cancel your crocodile feeding experience at short notice. If this happens, you will be contacted via email or telephone at least 24 hours before your experience is due to take place. We recommend that you check your messages and emails before your visit in case we have contacted you.

Age Restrictions: A minimum age limit of 10 years old applies. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. If both guests are under 16, one additional adult is allowed entry behind the scenes for supervising purposes only. They will not be able to participate in the crocodile feeding experience, and full admission price must be paid for the supervising adult.

Dress Code: Behind the scenes can be muddy and messy, so please dress appropriately. For your safety, closed-toe shoes must be worn.

Mobility: This encounter involves walking over uneven terrain and will not be suitable for those with limited mobility.

Punctuality: Paignton Zoo reserves the right to cancel your crocodile feeding experience if you arrive more than 10 minutes late without prior agreement. Unfortunately, your encounter cannot be rescheduled.

Dietary Requirements: Our restaurant is able to cater for a range of special dietary requirements, but details must be given to us in advance of your visit.

Photos: Professional photos will be provided as a digital download. We are unable to offer a physical print.

Entry: The prize draw is free to enter by post. All entries must be submitted via crowdfunder.co.uk or by sending a postcard/letter with your name, email address, postal address, and contact number to: Crocodile Feeding Experience Prize Draw, Paignton Zoo, Totnes Road, TQ4 7EU.
