Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to Help Musicians Prize Draws run via Crowdfunder.
It is the entrant’s responsibility to read these terms and conditions before entering into this prize draw. All income raised from these prize draws will go directly to Help Musicians.
By entering into this prize draw, each entrant consents to these terms and conditions.
Entering the Online Prize Draw
Participation in this prize draw is through Crowdfunder at a cost of £5 per prize draw entry. There are 3 pairs of Last Night of the Proms tickets available to win. Entrants can enter as many times as they like. The receipt from Crowdfunder is the acknowledgement that the prize draw has been entered.
Entrants must be over 18 years of age. Prize draw entries are not to be sold to, sold by, or bought on behalf of anyone under 18 years of age. Any entry bought by or on behalf of somebody under the age of 18 will be rejected from the draw.
The prize draw is open to UK only entrants (Wales, Scotland, England, Norther Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands).
The prize draw is open to anyone (over the age of 18) in the UK except employees and trustees of the Charity (Help Musicians and Music Minds Matter), their families, or anyone professionally connected with the draw.
Payment for participation in the prize draw is through Crowdfunder only. No other form of payment can be accepted.
Help Musicians may disqualify any entrant whose entry does not comply with these terms and conditions (in the Charity’s sole opinion) or who has acted in a manner that is fraudulent, dishonest or unjust to other entrants including, tampering with the operation of the prize draw, manipulating or rigging votes, hacking, deceiving, cheating or by harassing or threatening other entrants or a representative of the Charity. Help Musicians reserves the right to disqualify any entry at their absolute discretion.
To enter the prize draw, make an online entry and donation on this page and select an entry option. Entries will be accepted between Friday 19 July 2024 at 3pm GMT until Monday 5 August 5 pm GMT.
By entering this draw, all entrants consent to the use of their personal data by Help Musicians only for the purposes of the administration of this draw and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented. We will process your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy. You can view Help Musicians’ privacy policy here.
Entering the Prize Draw via Post
To enter the prize draw for free, please send a letter or postcard within an envelope with your full name, address, email and phone number to FAO Individual Giving Team, Help Musicians, 7–11 Britannia Street, London, WC1X 9JS. Please state that you wish to enter the prize draw. One postcard/letter per entry - we will only accept one postcard/letter per envelope. Personal and hand delivered entries will not be accepted. Entries which have not been given the correct and sufficient payment for postage will be invalid and not be considered. Entries by post must be received at the above address by the official closing of the prize draw date – Monday 5 August 2024. If they are received later than the specified closing date, then we regret that these entries cannot be accepted.
Prize draw entries received by postcard/letter will be manually entered into Help Musicians’ and Crowdfunder supporter databases.
Prize details
The result of the prize draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into about the prize draw process and results.
Following the closing date of Monday 5 August, the draw will take place on Tuesday 6 August. The winners will be chosen at random and contacted via email with instructions on how to claim their prize. If the winner does not respond within three days of the initial email being sent, the next winner will be chosen at random and emailed within 2 days.
The 3 winners will receive one pair of tickets for the Last Night of the Proms taking place on Saturday 14 September. The winners will be sent their prize within 3 days of Tuesday 6 August by Help Musicians. No substitution of prize is offered, no exchange or transfer of prize to a third party is permitted and prize may not be redeemed for cash value.
Winners’ names may be published on the charity’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. If you do not wish to have your name published on Help Musicians’ website/social media, please choose the privacy option when entering the prize draw through Crowdfunder.
