Yes, that’s right you could win a brand-new Wilson racket of your choice for £2, whilst supporting a good cause!!!!

The winner will get to choose any Wilson racket (excluding the RF) they want and will be able to pick the grip size and string pattern they desire. The racket will come unstrung but will be the newest model usually on sale for around £230.

If the target is achieved you can still donate/enter and be in with a chance of winning the racket!!!

The Cause

Endometriosis is a chronic and often debilitating condition where tissue similar to the uterine lining (endometrium) grows outside the uterus, often affecting pelvic organs like the ovaries, fallopian tubes, and bowel. These growths respond to hormonal changes, causing inflammation, scarring, and adhesions. Despite affecting an estimated 1 in 10 women worldwide, it remains highly unrecognised and misunderstood, with many waiting an average of 7 to 10 years for a proper diagnosis. Diagnosis can be challenging due to symptom overlap with other conditions leading to many women being misdiagnosed or not receiving recognition for the difficulties they are facing. Common symptoms include severe pelvic pain, painful periods, and infertility. Pains felt from endometriosis are so strong that women can faint and have been found to reach the same levels as pains felt in childbirth. There is no known cure for endometriosis meaning treatment focuses on managing symptoms through medication, hormones, or surgery. 

All profits from this prize draw will go to the Endometriosis support department at the Central Health Clinic (an NHS hospital in Bristol).  

The Central Health Clinic has recently been able to offer a 12-week programme for women with endometriosis which offers personal support, pain mitigation strategies, offer advice for partners and families who support women with endometriosis, and coping strategies for women with endometriosis. 

The programme's ability to connect women facing similar challenges, offer support, recognition, and offer strategies on learning to live with endometriosis are so powerful and give real hope to women who have to live with a condition that has no known cure.  

The profits raised from this prize draw will hopefully be able to help the development of this programme and increase the number of women who can attend since there is limited number of spaces.  

How to Enter

The prize draw will use Crowdfund and will be drawn on 15/05/25 at 15:00. Each entry is £2 unless stated otherwise with no limit on quantity bought. The draw will be livestreamed on Instagram @UWE_Tennis. Once the draw is completed a post will be on Crowdfunder and @uwe_tennis Instagram announcing the winner. A further post will be sent out with the receipt of payment to the endometriosis support department as soon as the donations are received.
