To be able to run our local forest school group sustainably and offer parents/carers bursary places.

by Pippa Griffin in Buckfastleigh, Devon, United Kingdom

We are a small, localised non for profit forest school group for children who are not able to attend main stream schooling.

Forest School is a child-centred inspirational learning process, that offers opportunities for holistic growth through regular sessions. It is a long-term program that supports play, exploration and supported risk taking. It develops confidence and self-esteem through learner inspired, hands-on experiences in a natural setting.

Wild School is a valuable resource for children out of main stream education. We offer weekly term time sessions in a beautiful wild space for forest school activities, nature connection, bushcraft, craft, explorative play. Utilising the power of the natural world, and the benefits of eco therapy.

We are a small team of trained Level 3 Forest Practitioners with a wealth of experience in supporting and empowering young people in outdoor settings.

We offer our sessions on a sliding scale basis, this is still struggle for some families, thus our vision is to be able to offer funded bursary places for those who are in need.

This is the aim of our crowd funder.
