To provide conductive education to young disabled children to help them in their everyday life and increase their self-sufficiency. To advise and teach 'hands on' parents, teachers, carers and support assistants to enable children to be more independent.

We’re a friendly charity based in beautiful Preston Park, supporting children with disabilities and their families from Brighton & Hove and the surrounding areas.

Our founder, Nina Holland, discovered the power of conductive education when her own son Christopher was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. She set up Whoopsadaisy in 2008 to share this life-changing method with other children and their families.

Since then, we’re proud to have supported many more children with disabilities to live full and independent lives.

We believe that everyone can learn. In the right environment, with the right support, and with tasks broken down into small achievable steps, our capacity to learn is unbound.

Using an approach called Conductive Education, we always start by finding out what a child can do. Then, in our playful, supportive small group sessions we build on those capabilities to develop mobility, confidence and independence.

We offer weekly, free group sessions for families with children aged 1-5, to help them reach their milestones and full potential.

We can help children with a wide range of motor disorders, including some undiagnosed conditions affecting mobility such as cerebral palsy, global development delay, acquired brain injury and Down’s Syndrome etc. subject to a free initial assessment.

Whoopsadaisy offers free group sessions to children aged 5-12 on Saturday mornings and afternoons in term time. The two hour long sessions are held in Preston Park, Brighton and are led by our qualified Conductors with the support of a team of trained volunteers.
