OHTCCP What ever it takes. Community in Crisi

I /we are raising money for a charitable cause that is very important to the whole Community of Oxfordshire.  We need a temple in Oxford.   Please would you donate and help us reach our target.   To achieve our dream of The very  first and only Community Centre and Hindu Temple in Oxford.  Lets us all get together and make History.   We are a registered  Charity.   OHTCCP.  Oxford Hindu Temple and Community Centre Project.  Anything big or small that you can spare or afford.  Please would you contribute towards helping us achieve our target.  It will be massively appreciated.  Patronships are also available and dedicated venue plaques can be pledges and dedicated to loved ones to be there for ever.  ( e.g. “in memory of —-). Should you donate or not  please do visit the community centre we will always welcome you with love and peace  

Project Status:   The premises have been secured on a long term lease with the city Council   There is a lot of remedial works that need to be carried out before it is safe for use or for any deity’s pran pratishta can take place  

We have given the repairs contract to a well known builder and we have engaged a project manager   We have agreed with them   That we would pay as we go.   Currently the works can be completed by the end of November   But due to lack of money  the building will be ready when we have the money to pay.   It is our dream   But it is all in the hands of gods and you to make our dream a reality   Currently as you can see in the images above   We pray, we meet, greet and celebrate our tradition,   Holi.  Diwali.  Masha Shivratri et.   where ever and whenever we can   Often in make shift marquees and tents  or outdoor or hired school halls   We take our gods and Havan utensils with us   Unpack and make a temporary make shift temple for the day.   We carry out the ceremonies and we prey.  We then pack everything up and it is all stored in a shops spare store room. Belonging to our treasurer.

We don’t want millions of pounds or a fancy temple place   We Just want a place we can call our home where our hearts can feel a sense of pease and belonging   Where gods are always there.  Not packed in boxes  waiting for the next prayers.
