Fish feeding experience You and a friend (maximum of 2 people) will join one of biologists in preparing the food for the animals in the Plymouth Sound Area of the aquarium. You will then join the biologist as they make the first feeding round of the day and help them to feed all of the animals in this area of the aquarium. Some of the stars of the show in this area include octopus, cuttlefish, crabs, lobsters, flatfish and sharks. During the experience, which will last 3 hours in total, you will learn about what goes into keeping all of these animals happy and healthy as well as learning about the conservation and research work that goes on in the National Marine Aquarium. This experience will include a photo opportunity so that you can take your memory home with you and entrance for you and your guest to the national marine aquarium on the day of the experience and a complimentary Annual Pass to revisit the aquarium as often as you want for a year. In addition to the above you will receive two tickets to the exclusive exhibition preview evening where you will have the chance to meet the artists behind the exhibition.

Biologist for the Day Your day will start at 8am working in the area of your choice to prepare the aquarium for opening. All of the animals have to be checked, tanks cleaned and animals fed before opening to the public at 10am. After a cup of tea the real work begins! You will help the team ensure that all of the animals in the aquarium collection are looked after properly. Three times a week the large sharks get fed and daily all of the other animals get their food. You may be lucky enough to help with a beach collection trip or refurbishing one of the exhibits. You may also get the chance to help out with one of our research projects. Either way you will get a unique insight into what goes into running the UK's largest Public Aquarium each day. Unfortunately you won’t get the chance to dive with our animals though! The experience will include a photo opportunity so that you can take your memories home with you and an Annual Pass to come back as often as you wish for a year. In addition to the above you will receive two tickets to the exclusive exhibition preview evening where you will have the chance to meet the artists behind the exhibition. Unfortunately, because of the nature of the activities within this package we need to set a minimum age limit of 16. Any people aged 16 or 17 will also need to have a signed parental consent form before undertaking the activity. If you are 18 or over there is no barriers.
