Weston-super-Mare Pride 2022

Aim: In 2019 Pride celebrated 50 years of Stonewall we are finally back in Weston-super-Mare to do what we do best- filled with love & inclusion
- We need your help. We haven't as a team held a Pride since 2019 due to the pandemic. We are a 16 strong team passionate to deliver the best possible experience for our community and beyond. We have a vision to make our Pride Event champion accessibility, inclusivity and education. In 2023 after winning the title at conference Weston-super-Mare Pride will host UK PRIDE in the South West of England.
- In 2022 we need to get the event out of the dusty cobwebs and bring an explosion of colour to the town once again to show case the LGBTQIA COMMUNITY and be visible.
- On doing so we will bring community cohesion and combat discrimination. Hate Crime Reporting has increased and the isolation experienced by many people in the community has brought about poor mental wellbeing.
- Through Weston-super-Mare Pride we can reconnect - share our positive attributes and strengthen our weaknesses .
- In 2022 - We will make a difference.
