WEST FAVERSHAM COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION

West Faversham Community Association also known as Invicta Community & Leisure aims to improve the lives of local people. We strive to provide positive opportunities and be completely inclusive to all, so that income and ability is not a barrier to accessing groups, activities and fitness. 

We run many groups and activities including offering supported gym, low impact classes and chair based fitness classes for those who need a bit of help and extra support. We aim to offer these classes free of charge or at a very low cost. We currently are struggling with space for these groups as many of the rooms we use within the community centre are either in use with other activities or the are harder to access. 

We would like to convert part of the building into a dedicated community fitness hub, where all the classes can take place, this will enable us to increase the number of accessible, supported classes and to be able to provide better equipment which will have a permanent place to be kept. It will be easily, the equipment will be chosen to be disability friendly. 

If you support us raising money for this cause we will be able to build this area and fully equip it, giving us the opportunity to help and support more in the communities physical and mental well being.
