The current West Cliff theatre building is over 95 years old. Improving and upgrading electrical facilities will not only help us maintain our high standard of service, but will also help the venue become more environmentally friendly by reducing electrical consumption.
The West Cliff is independently run by a Trust and plays host to professional touring shows, local amateur groups, dance schools, and other youth groups. It is mainly run by volunteers and each year welcomes over 30,000 visitors. It is home to The Summer Show (a joint production with AJL Theatrical) and is a well-regarded venue amongst artists and promoters due to the friendly staff and unique
atmosphere.
