We KIN get a break

We are trying to save and refurbish this much much needed and used lifeline for kinship carers in West Dunbartonshire and others under emergency need . Our van has been running since 2015 and after a 3 years initial funding we’ve had to self fund for many years . This year due to high rise in kinship placements and need we provided an astounding 61 breaks to carers in need of rest bite . After the busiest year we not only need to fund due to high cost of living electricity , gas , and sadly cleaning being privatised also can hanky needing a rerub and freshen up due to extensive use this year . . Wd hope to raise enough to sustain this for atkeast the next two years to give us some continuance without stress of finding money . We are 200% voluntary of 13 years and pride ourselves on creating new hubs on a very small service budget that has tripled the support we give . Carers in cost of living especially carers being assessed with no payment are struggling and a break is last in the list before shopping and heating . We know everyone is affected by this but hope people will donate a little if they have it . Thank you
