Who we are!
We Are F.I.S.H CIC was developed to support children, young people and families in the community with additional needs. We found as parents of children with additional needs, support for parents to engage and navigate the world within and outside incuslivity was boggling but as work has developed and continued with We Are F.I.S.H, this has grown to a huge recognisable community enterprise that is empowering all who use our services and beyond.
At We Are F.I.S.H all our community projects rely solely on the kind nature and time of the wonderful directors and volunteers who spend their time developing and building new initiatives through the world of support and delivering provisions to the community through different community projects.
We Are Fish CIC have to rely on the kindness and goodwill of the people within the north east lincolnshire area and we want to be able to continue to repay that kindness by delivering and developing the amazing work of the community projects combined for FREE. We would also love to be able to provide paid opportunities to our volunteers who devote so much time and effort alongside extra expanded resources for all to access.
It is extremely important to us to be able to deliver these projects for FREE due to the cost of living, to tackle and reduce loneliness, to bridge gaps between all In society to those who are extremely vulnerable and are in high risk groups such as Parents/ carers of children and young people with educational needs and disabilities, the children and young people themselves, children within deprived communities and surrounding, and so on.
