Wayewa Africa Partnership

We started in London in 2017 with a simple question. Why do people think black people do not support one another? 

Growing up in London you can quickly become disillusioned with the state of the Global African Community. We are dealing with so many hardships yet still we rise. We saw the crime, poverty and poor health rampant in our global community and resolved to make a change. We travelled to Africa and saw much of the same poverty that was crippling the community with no support from the government and decided there that we would be a part of the change. 

Our personal family home in Nigeria was donated to an orphanage home in keeping with this change and we began fundraising to be able to support the daily needs of the children in Nigeria. Supporting the Kings Heritage home in Ijebu Nigeria for these years has meant we have created a direct connection between our people across the Atlantic Ocean. Our support in Africa has not stopped there we have created school scholarships also in Nigeria and now provide daily support to The Galaxy School in The Gambia. 

Now we are asking for further support to enable the Kings Heritage home to upgrade the equipment they are using in their school so the children can get the technological education they deserve. The support we are asking for should allow us to help the Kings Heritage Home first and then can spread to the Galaxy School and further children across Africa. We have committed our selves in service of African people and African Children help us to be able to take our support to the next level so we can all become part of the change we wish to see In the world.
